A Day in the Field: Keeping Southern Arizona Warm and Comfortable

Early Morning: Getting Started

The day begins at 6:30 AM at Mountain View Air Conditioning & Heating’s main office. After checking the day’s schedule and loading up the service truck with essential parts and tools, I head out to my first call in Sierra Vista, where a family reported their furnace making unusual noises.

Mid-Morning: Emergency Response

While diagnosing the Sierra Vista furnace issue (a loose blower motor mounting), dispatch calls about an urgent heating system failure in Benson. An elderly couple’s furnace completely stopped working during one of our rare but chilly Arizona winter mornings.

What We Typically Handle Daily:

  • Preventive maintenance inspections
  • Emergency furnace repairs
  • Heating system evaluations
  • Filter replacements
  • Thermostat programming

Afternoon: System Replacement

The afternoon involves a scheduled furnace replacement in Douglas. These installations typically take several hours, ensuring everything is perfectly configured for optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Late Afternoon: Wrapping Up

Before heading back to base, I complete a routine maintenance check in Sonoita. It’s satisfying knowing our work keeps homes comfortable across Southern Arizona’s diverse climate zones.

Every day brings unique challenges and opportunities to help our neighbors stay comfortable in their homes, whether we’re in Bisbee, Hereford, or anywhere else in our service area. It’s rewarding to be part of a team that puts customer comfort first.
